From misfiring signals to meltdown moments with malfunctioning WiFi, Train Crazy follows the builders behind the scenes as they chase perfection in 1:87 scale. At once heartwarming, hilarious, and deeply human, this documentary is a love letter to collaboration, creativity, and the joy of making something bigger than yourself — even if it’s tiny.

This documentary is a self-financed passion project. If it gains some traction, we plan to add a fully dubbed German version. As independent filmmakers exploring a niche subject, we’re experimenting with direct distribution – if it works, we hope to produce more railway documentaries: engaging, cinematic, and accessible even to those new to model railroading.
